Feathers? ferns?

The foliage could be related to both but in fact it's another wattle that's popped its head over our back fence. The leaves (forget the pinnules and the phyllodes and all that stuff) are amazingly fine, and there are tiny, tiny buds waiting to blossom (another blip when they do!). So different from yesterday's wattle...
My new 40x handlens suggests it's an Acacia decurrens, but I wouldn't be dogmatic on that! The white flowers are Ozomanthus, unrelated.
