A grey bitterly cold day but with some much needed silliness. And unexpected kindness.

We tried hard to give the little mouse family who thought they'd found a nice warm home a good send off. -19°C got the better of them. They'd done such a good job of cosying in, it took some engine stripping, a very long screwdriver and some bbq tongs to get them out! 
At least their final fling over the wall was an exciting journey to resting in peace/becoming owl food.
