A walk along Blue River
After a good sleep and lazy morning, my friend and I took a walk along the Blue River in Silverthorne. We were on the lookout for birds, but did not see many. Still the scenery was colorful, as you can see here, and the walk in the snow was exhilarating. Then we saw a fisherman coming out of the river and struck up a conversation with him. "Did you catch anything?" "Yes, but don't tell anyone about my secret spot." "How do you stay warm standing in the freezing water?" "I wear heated socks." Then he asked us a question, "Are you looking for birds? I saw a Great Blue Heron standing on a pile of river debris just this way." So the fisherman pointed us to the fishing bird, and now you can see it in extras.
