Monster Mania

It's Thursday so that means Ethan's weekly swimming lesson. I'm still undecided about whether to move him up to the next level or not but as he asked me this morning if he could go in the lesson by himself, with the agreement of the teacher I decided to give it a go. I sat on the edge of the pool and although I went in a couple of times to help him, he also did lots of swimming by himself. He also swapped his armbands for a backfloat at one point. He has used one before but not for about a year and I was impressed that he swam really well with it on too.

After that we drove to Falkirk to Monster Mania where we were meeting my sister-in-law Sarah and her daughter Millie. Ethan has been there before but I haven't and I got a bit lost trying to find it! Got there in the end though and it was fab! Ethan and Millie especially liked the go carts. They went on them by themselves and were fantastic at whizzing round the track with no help!

On the way home I had to take a detour cos of a road closure. Ended up near South Queensferry and when Ethan saw the Forth Road and Rail bridges he asked to go over them! So another detour it was over the Forth and back before heading home.
