Christmassy

Another crisp sunny snowy day. Another fall overnight. I brushed what had become 7 inches of snow off the car, just to see yet more snow fall. But at least the bulk has been cleared.

With so much lying I decided to complete a snowman with what I’d started yesterday. Our son made a snow dog.

Late afternoon a robin started singing away in the rowan in the front garden. I’ve posted a video on Facebook. The sound was so clear and varied. It was sitting high up and in the middle of the tree so getting the auto focus on my compact to centre on the bird and not the branches took some time.

With the robin, the snow and the snow formations I relit the outside lights round the greenhouse - see extra - to rekindle a bit of Christmas feel.
