It was all about the sky tonight
Today I found myself hanging out of an upstairs window at work with a fellow Blipper, trying to get a shot of Stirling Castle shrouded in the mist. The poor students working nearby got hit by a blast of icy cold air so we were as quick as we could be and shut the window again. A shot of the castle shrouded in mist I got but it turned out to be grey and bland :-(
Not to be put off, while leaving work tonight the sky was stunning so I spent a wee while capturing it before leaving. This is one of the things I love most about Scotland, the ever changing sky. Clear blue is all very well but no where near as interesting as the colours and contrasts here, also my favourite type of sky to paint in watercolour. Hope I've done it justice.
