Apple disaster

Annoyingly early start to a Saturday with Amy heading off to do COVID vaccines and I had to take car back to the garage as the handbrake wasn't holding after they changed the calipers and pads. So dropped it off at the garage and then ran back home. I think I would have been dryer if I had swam home. The rain and sideways wind made the long slog up through Bramley almost unbearable. Still felt good to get the exercise finished before 9:30am. Spent the rest of the morning tidying and cleaning the house with the boys so would be nice surprise for when Amy got home. Then a very rare thing for us, we literally all sat in lounge and watched TV for pretty much the whole afternoon. Nate found "The Escapists" with Richard Hammond and we all got a bit hooked after the first episode so sat and watched another 4 back to back. Felt very lazy and naughty but the weather was awful and actually was nice all just sat together. Unfortunately despite using my laptop intermittently throughout the day I came to use it in the evening and the display was completely bust. Multicoloured vertical lines all over it. Tried restarting in safe mode, rebooting the various RAMs, chatted with apple support but completely and utterly broken. First time in 13years of using apple products that ever had a problem, so not bad really, but now need to try and get it fixed before Crammer on Thursday. Eek.
