Up On The Roof

Today is the day the local company we hired in December arrived to repair an area on the roof on the backside of our house. The call was made after water generously leaked into our Laundry area during a heavy rainstorm • I asked the crew if they minded working in the cold and snow, unanimously, without hesitation, they said not at all, they were used to it. Hearty souls, and we’re thankful to have them here today • All three cats scattered when they heard their two large trucks pulling into the driveway this morning, and they’ve remained incognito ever since. Who’s making all that noise, noise, noise? • My collage shows the stack of new shingles that will replace those that had to be removed; one of the old shingles tossed away in the snow, and the electrical cord that stretched across the yard to fuel their tools • We’re watching the 2nd Impeachment Trial of DT in the Senate...seeing the Capitol Insurrection again is chilling...
