Looking down

10-15cm of snow overnight and probably the same again today, we rarely get this much here.
Mr Rat managed a run but, although the knee was feeling fine, I decided to get the snowshoes out and go into the park/golf course.
It was magical wandering among the trees and I could just about imagine being somewhere like Finland (where we snowshoed last year) at times. There were a few snow showers but mostly sun, and it was hard work in the powdery snow.
I was glad I'd gone this morning as it snowed all afternoon.
