A Day of Balls
Just a quick one tonight as I am really tired. I'm just trying to pile so much in to my last couple of days at work this week. I have next week off and you know how it is, there is just this thing and just that thing and so on it goes. Don't get me wrong, it's been good in that I have got through so much stuff this week I feel that I really have done as much as I can. Just tomorrow to go...
Today was really a load of balls! I caught this little chap having a good dinner earlier. He certainly seems to like those fat balls! There were a couple of the tiniest birds I'd ever seen on them earlier. No idea what they were but I was on the phone and the camera was in the wrong place so I had no chance of catching them. They were so quick, I doubt I'd have got them if I'd been there waiting.
I ordered 28 new chairs for the office a few weeks ago and they all arrived today which was quite a relief really although the Health and Safety lady asked if it was OK to inspect the old ones to see if any could be saved. I had to explain where in the council house we were but I am hopeless with directions and was spinning round on my chair here waving my arms about trying to explain where the office was. She got there but about an hour and a half later than expected. I hope I've still got my old chair as there was nothing wrong with it. The new ones are a lot more expensive but I'm cheap I suppose! It's amazing how possesive people get over their chairs and can identify them by a certain stain after a certain sandwich! Mine was spotless I'll have you know although it looks like a dog has been moulting all over it with gingery hairs everywhere.
The lady next door brought one of her sons home from school early as he wasn't well she told me when I rushed out to give her a parcel that had been given to me for her earlier. Well he can't have been that ill as he rang the doorbell twice later wanting his ball back after it had come over the fence. There were five balls out there all over the lawn when I went out. Crap footballer!
