Standing

Sunday began with two worship services to watch, rather than my usual one. I had been asked to record a reflection for inclusion in the service for another local church so, having watched / participated in the service from my 'own' church, I then watched the other one. I'm either committed or maybe I should be!

My walk afterwards was along the Canal to Bonnyfield Nature Reserve, around that and then I retraced my steps along the Canal to home. As can be seen from the photo above there was a lot of standing water in the nearby fields as well as in the Reserve itself. Hardly surprising given the amount of rain we've had recently.

Later in the afternoon, almost into evening, I drove into Falkirk to get the first of my Covid19 vaccinations - woo-hoo! - and then was able to compare notes with my cousins when we had our regular Sunday evening blether on the phone. They had received their Covid19 jags in the same location earlier in the afternoon.

A busy little day, when the only thing standing still was the water in the fields.
