Snow Lantern

Today has been our second day of snow with plummeting temperatures. My brother in particular was delighted as all the trains up to London were cancelled so he did not have to go into work.
We even managed to get out for a snowbound early morning run. You actually warm up quite quickly as long as you keep moving.
We celebrated our good fortune at effectively extending our weekend by having chips and curry sauce for lunch. 
Today's image is of a small lantern which has seen better days - it is rusty on the top and the glass is cracked but I found that this made it stand out against the snow covered table top in our garden.
