Brightened my day

We were awake fairly early......hub had slept really well, me not so much :-/ Hub has managed to lie on his side a couple of times lately, not something hes been able to do for a good while.....he is happy to be able to again!

Breakfast for hub was crunchy nut cornflakes followed by bananas & custard....yes I know not your regular breakfast but its what he fancied ;-). Hub caught up on the cricket whilst I finished off the ironing before we took ourselves downstairs.

Mid morning coffee followed by the phone engineer calling to sort out my new phone transfer.....luckily he could connect to our wifi from his van on the drive so he didnt have to stand outside in the bitter wind! After 45 mins he passed over both handsets, suitably sanitised and said to keep them side by side until the data transfer was complete and off he went.

Not long after another knock on the door, a delivery for me.....but I wasn't expecting anything??!! A lovely box containing this gorgeous Spring Flowers bouquet, from one of our good friends, who we used to work with. JC follows my blips and had picked up on the fact that I had mentioned I kept forgetting to get myself some daffies so she took things into her own hands :-) So bright and cheerful lighting up the kitchen.

After lunch we had a facetime catch up,with hubs sis and her hub....they are patiently waiting for their vaccines shortly. We watched a bit of tv, before I noticed my phone was still transferring data and didnt seem to have progressed much :-/ Bearing in mind we have appointments tomorrow and Tuesday, we cant afford to be without phones, so I got onto the EE website live chat......whilst I was making a fairly quick dinner of char sui pork fillet and fried rice.

Neither of us overly enjoyed dinner funnily enough :-/ mine was eaten whilst I was chatting to a very helpful and patient lady who had to talk me through the whole process of backing up my old phone, before updating it and then transferring everything across to the new handset......not far short of 2hours, which slightly defeated the idea of the engineer coming to do it for me to avoid the time & stress lol!!! Anyhow its all sorted thankfully.

We are watching The Musicals concert on tv, its really good, some more so than others, but entertaining nonetheless.

Hubs been pretty good today, got a bit of a cough and runny nose, but he doesn't feel off, and his temp is fine. Bed soon, we are getting tired, after an earlyish start, at least tomorrows appointment isnt until 11.45, unlike Tuesdays 8.30!!

Another new week beckons......more taking care and staying safe folks!
