Sitting on the fence #25

A better night, awake quite early, cuppa tea just after 8.......happy to report boiler working fine ;-) A quick shot of this little dunnock spotted on oir fence whilst I was waiting for the kettle to boil.....I have been leaving my camera out onmthemwork surface near the window :-)

Hub is feeling much better this morning after his jab side effects.....so we were up and ready in good time, to leave at 10.45 for his scan appointment. Traffic was lightish, dropped him off at 11.35am. I went to collect a hat & scarf Id ordered, from a drop off point and as I was out, on to a Costa "drive thru" to keep me going until hub was ready. He messaged me to say he was sat there "drinking this yucky dye stuff, suppose you're drinking a coffee??!!" I did reply "whatever gave you that idea ;-) " Two tasks completed and no contact with anyone for me :-)

Only two attempts to get his cannula in, all went smoothly and he was done and dusted and ready to be picked up two hours later. Drove home via our Costa so hub could have his treat, a coffee of a munchies muffin.

Its not stopped raining pretty much all day today, very dismal and dark, a chilly 4 degrees too! Youngest son rang not long after we were home to check on progress. Hubs dismayed that his team have sucuumbed again today, not happy. He is currently shouting at the tv, watching the rugby too ....more frustration lol!!

Dinner this evening will be lamb leg steak, sliced oven cooked potatoes....and probably carrots & peas. Not that Ive started it yet!

Tv tonight will probably be The Voice and who knows what else!

Really hope the weather is better tomorrow, need to get out for a walk!!!
