The best I could get..

The goldcrest is such an infrequent visitor to the elder tree and, being an insect eater, s/he doesn't land on the feeders but skips about the tree at great speed.  I just happened to be enjoying watching the pre-roost feed whilst I had my afternoon cuppa and caught the goldcrest flitting about.  I  pointed my camera through the glass and fired off several shots in the general direction, hoping I would catch it.  This is the best of a bad bunch.  I do love that little round eye with the flash of gold above.

Angela and I had an early, very chilly walk along Bents Lane and down to the caravan site this morning then Tony and I finished the impossible jigsaw, hooray.  I've been practising Solveig's Song on my recorder, a tricky little piece and very lovely (Tony might disagree when I'm playing it!)  Now I'm going to pack away the Olafs, do a bit of Czech and then maybe take out my new jigsaw which will be rather challenging methinks......

I do wonder about my Czech algorithm sometimes.  It's almost that the computer is having relationship trouble.  I've had the following sentences, amongst other similar ones, to learn recently:
What are you doing in bed with my husband?
Zofie should not have married Frantisek.
I certainly hope I won't have to use either of these on our next visit to Czechia!
