Waterfall Steps

Another horrible dreich day and I was contemplating more jigsawing when friend Angela texted to ask if I wanted a soggy walk, just what I needed to avoid another day on the settee. 

There was some serious water out there in the estate as it demonstrated by this stream coming down the steps to the monument.  We had to negotiate a significant puddle/pond on the top path.  My Scarpa boots did an excellent job of keeping out the water as we went for it and 'ran' through, Angela was not so fortunate with hers....

Feeling revitalised, I have done several jobs before and after lunch and now I feel I have earned sitting down with a cuppa for a bit.  The impossible jigsaw has needed several strategies to manage it and it's interesting that Tony and I have very different approaches, but we are getting there.  Then it will be time for me to get out my next challenge, thanks PaulaJ.......
