Face in the woods

I love the way someone has arranged this log and carved a face on it where a temporary spring emerges during really wet winter spells - such as now. Otherwise it was a lovely day for a walk with a friend - it was her birthday which I’d not realised when I suggested the walk so that was extra nice. And later I took Sula the van for a short drive to collect a fleece processing drum carder. Poor Sula she’s not been anywhere for two months now so a little excuse for an excursion was good. And I got to meet the alpacas too, they’re super cute.
