Pat’s Plate.

The trip to Norwich has been done! Phew. This is city and area I love and it seemed so odd not being on holiday there. It’s a place we nearly always visit every year and have a few days away enjoying all the lovely sights this beautiful County has to offer. 

This was a flying visit to say the least. We gathered family photos plus a few  bits and bobs that were family pieces and then headed home again. Pat was a vey modest person with few possessions. Mostly of no monetary value but of family interest. This plate was one such item from her fathers side of the family. There are no marking on it but I am guessing this would have been Victorian and was hung in the parlour of a family house somewhere. It is large , and is I am thinking a charger designed to hang on walls. It is now on display and will be a lovely reminder of Pat.

I really cannot wait to once again be able to travel to Norwich for another enjoyable stay.
