Birthday Boy!

Today 36 years ago I was made a Mummy! It was quite traumatic and I suspect neither of us would have survived 100 years before! But we did. Today we celebrated with a birthday lunch. However as sometimes happens it did not go according to plan.

Mr Tbay Jnr was given a very fancy outdoor chimnea for his birthday which was lit in the garden and sat around for a very brief drink due to the very nippy weather conditions. Snow is a possibility over the next few days. 

All was going swimmingly until (we think) poor Harry tripped and to save him self put both hands on the hot chimnea surface. Chaos ensued.Poor little mite screamed the place down. Examination was made after running under cool water and a phone call to 111 resulted being sent to the Bristol Children’s Hospital to have a look at the burns.

I am glad to say he is home again and has a few nasty blisters but he will be fine in a week or so. He will be feeling very sore for a few days to come, and has to return to have his dressings looked at tomorrow.

The birthday boy missed his roast dinner and his cake so a re run tomorrow may be on the cards. You just never know what is round the corner........
