Are Seagulls Self Isolating?

Falmouth Rugby Club pitch, on any given day when there is no activity on the pitch it is normally liberally sprinkled with resting gulls. Likewise the rooftops around the town normally have a covering of gulls all making a noise, especially in the morning.
But of late it has been eerily quiet, most noticeable in the morning, no birds on the roof tops and not many seen flying around.
It does have a plus side; more of the smaller garden birds are appearing in our garden.

Rugby club check over in the morning, some personal admin pm, and a family phone call in the evening.
