Pattern 1907 Mark 1

Sword bayonet designed for use with Lee Enfield rifle. Made 1908 -45 and used by British and Commonwealth forces in both world wars. 17 inch steel blade with crossguard and pommel walnut grip and leather scabbard with steel top and bottom
This one dates from 1913 on with GR cipher and some slight design changes. Mother's young brother who was an army medic in India WW2 left it in our house1950s.
