If I told you there was a man swimming here this afternoon I expect you would not be surprised due to the addictive power sea swimming has become for some! Needless to say he did not stay in long - there was a windchill of -4 on the beach today!

We stayed in in the morning as the rain was not conducive to venturing out. A good chance to work at my desk and catch up on some calls. Our home school grandchildren had a screen free day today. This is a new weekly initiative and a great idea in these screen bound days.

We walked 4 miles in the afternoon and were pleased to get back to the warm stove. The weather forecast suggests it’s going to get even colder as Arctic air plunges across the U.K. at the end of the week.
