Moving on up.

She left the surgery ward today and went upstairs to the rehabilitation ward where she will be put through her paces with her new hip. This could take a while, they won’t rush to send her home, which is a good thing.
When I arrived this morning she’d just been given a shower and got dressed in her own clothes ,instead of the hospital gowns,  for the first time in a week.
Feeling more alive!
