Showery day

Today's showers were greeted warmly;  just the day for cleaning the algae from the outside of the tunnel.  The traditional cleaning method of two people pulling an old bed-sheet over the plastic from one side to the other was modified for use by one person.  A long, soft rope was doubled, and one end thrown over the tunnel, leaving a long tail at each end.  One end was then 'snaked' left and right over the wet plastic, removing the green algae, to be washed away by the next shower.
