Flowers in the rain

Inspiration for this photo came from a comment on radio this morning that Flowers in the Rain was the first record to be played on BBC Radio 1.  The day seemed right, with plenty of light rain, and the flowers were in the garden, snowdrops, with winter aconites in the background.

The darkness of the evening belies the fact that we have an hour extra of daylight in the evenings compared with the earliest sunsets of December
