Croydon sunset

Celebrating there still being light in the sky when I leave work. Tonight I had to pop over to Croydon to pick up a prescription. I thought this was a bit nicer than the shots of empty shops I took.

Today at work went better than yesterday. There were fewer people around so fewer distractions and I managed to untangle some of the mess that I discovered yesterday. It's cold in the house tonight.

Tomorrow marks two years since my friend and I set off on our travels. Our first stop was Hong Kong, then 2 months in New Zealand and 6 weeks in Australia. We got back in June 2011 and I didn't plan to stay around here long, I wanted to do more travelling. I got a temp job just to build up some money and experience and my initial three day posting with a company went on and on until they offered me a permanent role. I'm still there. I realised I've not been outside of England since getting back. So much for more travelling! I want to make a change but I don't seem to be able to do it. Just a few days in Europe would be really good but I seem to be incapable of planning it or I keep coming up with excuses why not to.
