Over the years a dedicated community group combined with the District Council to establish areas of native plantings along the Taylor River. The plants are lovely and have grown very well. Here Maisie checks out some interesting smells as the early sunlight touches a big clump of flax and Maisie with fingers of gold. We are very appreciative of the work folk have put into enhancing the Taylor River environs.
