Mr C gets the call

Lots to be thankful for - including all the kind messages sent yesterday for my 2500 blip yesterday. I appreciated you dropping by. Blip has been such a support during these hard times.

We were out for a 4 mile walk on Simonside when Mr C got a call from the GP surgery. High Noon - that’s his time for his first Covid vaccination. I felt quite emotional to think at last his turn has come.

We had a lovely sunny walk though the slabs were quite icy and there was some snow. More is forecast for tomorrow.

Katy arranged a zoom birthday party for Ailie. She was quite excited - we were remarking on what pleasure we get from little things. Anne said she was planning a real party for her 80th birthday in June. I doubt that will happen, even out of doors!

The daughters are thrilled about the vax. The grandchildren are counting the days till they can come to visit. A long way off of course.
