Stromness Slip

Across to my mother’s for the usual chores.  CMC was at the Garson dentist, so I walked round to meet her.  I went my length in the snow at the Garson estate and cramped up.  Oh how the pedestrians laughed. 

Plenty of bairns out on their sledges.   Myrtle called me to say she’d had an intruder.  He’d left her slipper on the phone.  She’s also busy marmalade making.
