Walking to Shoes

We got snow...about 4 inches so far. It’s been snowing very lightly and gently all day and looks set to continue on and off into Tuesday. The roads are pretty well plowed and W. and I walked down the street to access the W&OD Trail. This was unplowed and showed signs of cross country skiers. Took a good long walk all the way into town and got hot chocolate at Shoes, a cafe in a former cobbler’s building.

Thank you for the nice words and wishes for my stepdad. He had a full hip replacement and is having balance difficulties, so may need to go to a rehab center.
