Janney’s Mill

...built in Waterford in the 1740s. This isn't the original building; it was built sometime in the 1800s.

W and I explored the beautiful meadow path this afternoon that winds back from the mill and along the banks of Catoctin Creek. This is in the village of Waterford, which is designated a National Historic Landmark...it’s a lovely conglomeration of historic houses and a couple little shops.

Stepdad Dave unfortunately fell yesterday and is in the hospital...hip replacement operation today (his second).  :-(

Been fighting a headache all day, so time to hit the hay!
