Laburnum Tree

We walked early this morning to beat the heat, passing a row of Laburnums that were hard to miss, they were stunning trees in full flower against the blue sky ..
Shock news this afternoon as the Premier of our State made an announcement of a full lock down to go ahead from 6pm this evening! for a period of 5 days.
A young security guard working at one of Perths quarantine hotels has tested positive to the virus the highly contagious UK or the African variant. there are 15 people quarantined in the hotel.
Our 265 days with no community transmissions has come to an end.
 Masks are mandatory outdoors, only one hour a day for a walk with one other person, there will only be essential food shops open, and chemists, i went on line this afternoon to order our food shop, we will collect our shop tomorrow, we saw scenes of people panic buying on the news this evening, why??? i ask myself! 
My swim is cancelled this week too, ha well it could be worse i guess.
Schools were due to go back tomorrow too after a six weeks Summer break, they all get an extra five days, kids are happy!!
 Fingers crossed this will end in five days and there are no extra repercussions. 
The 20 year old guy who has caused the outbreak was working as an Uber share driver while working as a security guard, what a Wally!! a huge investigation is now underway how this occurred? i fear more cases.
