The not so Big Garden Birdwatch

Our plans for a garden birdwatch session have come to nought.
We had left it to this morning thinking the expected snow would bring more of the birds to the feeders - well, no snow so that didn't go well!

There are birds about, twittering in the trees - just not many on the feeders and not where we can see them well enough to count.

Both of these feeders are successful at keeping the tree rats grey squirrels away from the food, although this plan might have more of a long term effect :-)

Hope tomorrow is a better day! 

Edit: shot with the lens hood touching the inner window glass, in large the text on the feeder is readable so the conservatory windows are perhaps better than I have given them credit for previously.
