Spent the afternoon lobbying the University Senate and then voting in Senate not to have one of the schools put into review.
Knew we would lose the vote but it still hurts to see senior academics voting to put their colleagues jobs under threat. Harder when like today there would be a better alternative.
Anyway came out and the light was beautiful. Small pleasures
