Uncovering history

I love my old house and the current works are uncovering some history. Where the door has been taken out and blocked up there is the uncovering of a former life. The door frame was fitted over some old wallpaper.
The bathroom was originally two separate rooms and the landing extended a little further than it does at present. So here we have some new timber, our current green wallpaper, old wallpaper and under it the 1930s laths that were the base for the plaster.
