Last time

I took this photo of Mum on 25th January 2020. I saw her again briefly the next day before setting out for Gatwick and the flight back. That was the last time I saw her and the last time I was in the UK. She died on April 8th 2020.

You keep on keeping on. It’s in the hastily written 21st century pandemic rule book. One day and one mask at a time.

Back here in our corner the local baker has had to close due to Covid. It’s never far away. We’re buying in better masks. Stay safe.
