Sally Mair - Loving life

Flooded

It's rained a lot over the last couple of days. The rose bed in the front garden is looking very sad. I noticed there's a stray clump of snowdrops in the water.
Stayed in today but had a nice chat with the girls on messenger this afternoon. They're both full of beans especially Isobel as they met her friends in the park this afternoon. A planned play meet but not as much fun as they had hoped as it was so cold and wet.
Did a bit of paperwork to add signatories on the church bank account. Ridiculously complicated process and no guarantee it will actually work.
More cold weather ahead of us this weekend so we'll be staying in and battening down the hatches. We can do the garden birdwatch from inside, safely behind the windows with the heating on.
Keep safe and well everybody, the reports on the roll out of vaccines here in Scotland seems to be more or less on schedule, over 70's starting up in earnest next week and the following, then our group. It's all coming closer.
