Massey Ferguson

Went to my old county, Fürstenfeldbruck to the west of Munich to look at a tractor a friend had heard about which was for sale - a 1965 John Deere with front loader that had been used for years almost exclusively to pile up manure on a muck heap.

The man selling it wasn't the farmer but a friend of his recently widowed wife who was selling everything and had asked him to deal with it.

Very friendly man and we agreed a price -€1,000. Will pick up tomorrow. As can be seen from the photo, he is a Massey Ferguson fan he simply has for shows and local events & processions. He is very proud of them.
