Fire fighters

We decided to go on a longer walk today above Jujols as it might be the last chance before a new lockdown. We climbed 850 metres on the sentier des bergeries up to 1760 metres where the views were stunning. There was still quite a bit of snow about and we had to pick our way carefully coming down through the woods. However, it was 16 degrees and warm in the sunshine and I ended up carrying most of my layers in my rucksack. The firefighters were out on training exercises clearing undergrowth and four of them agreed to pose. As well as providing ambulance services, they do the dangerous job of fighting the summer forest fires. They are our local heroes!
