Weber BBQ unboxing

Getting right into antipodean Summer culture now - upgraded to a brand new Weber electric BBQ today, complete with 2 meat thermometer probes that you can control and monitor from an App (as you do).
Another one of those US companies that make a reasonably solid, well-designed and reliable product, but by keeping wholesale margins extremely thin, effectively strangle discount pricing (think also Apple, Bose).
So when a local discount chain offers a 15% discount, the skin-flints and the retired amongst us are ready to pounce.
Also like other contemporary US retail price maintainers, the packaging is extremely high quality - as if to reassure the consumer that everything about the product is solid and classy.
Today's Extra photo shows the cardboard box and all the soft and hard packaging components laid out on a large outdoor 8' x 4' table.
I really appreciate that there was no damage sustained in transit, but think Weber over-strengthened their packaging by a factor of at least 2!
