Of a quite successful day. Drove to Eugene for a shopping trip at Trader Joe’s. I always come out of that store like I am stocking up on food for a war time.

The drive over the mountains in the early morning was so beautiful. There had been some snow, the temps were around freezing and the trees bordering the street were looking like in a fairy tale!

It was fun to see people behave differently from those in our little town. There was a little air of freedom hanging around.
In the evening I had very sore knees and hips in spite of having only walked 2000 steps the whole day.
