The annual catkin shot

It’s that time of year.

A trip to Risley Moss first thing. A few dog walkers, otherwise comfortable. Surprised to see a couple of bin lorries in the car park, they must park here before starting their rounds (Tuesday is bin day in these parts).

Late morning there again with J. That did not go well at all, too many people, too many prams and buggies, too many kids running around, and bin lorries parked for lunchtime which meant we went around again rather than back to the car. Good to see the place being used, but J was stressed out to put it mildly - we’ll have to rethink whether to come here in future.
