5 a day, no problem!
We both love stirfried food, so this was tonight's offering. It's so good to have such a good selection and we're very lucky that we can have so much variety. We're still eating left over sprouts from last month, they're delicious cooked like this. The spirits have been out in the garage with our other fruit and veg keeping fresh and cool. It's like a giant fridge out there at this time of year, not quite cold enough to freeze the fruit and veg but they certainly stay fresh longer.
Sunday today and after watching our YouTube service we had our first Zoom after service coffee time. After church coffee or lunch has always been an important part of our church life and we hoped that some new faces might come along. It was good to catch up and to hear that some are receiving vaccines. One of the group was on the bus to work so couldn't actually have coffee but was glad to join in the chat.
Colin and I had a short walk while the sun was up. It's extraordinary how direction affects the state of the pavements. I needn't have bothered clearing ours the other day as our side of the road has completely cleared as it faces south and gets what sun there is. The other side of the street is still completely covered in ice and is very treacherous, it gets no sun at all.
We've been watching Finding Alice, not quite sure what to make of it but it's a star studded cast. It's a little hard to believe Joanna Lumley's character say that she and her husband, played by Nigel Havers are strapped for cash living on their pensions!
Keep safe everybody, and warm too!
