Winter leaves
Another glorious blue-sky cold and frosty day. Unfortunately, we spent most of it indoors, but went for a brisk walk down to the river after lunch.
Two coats of paint from each of the match pots brushed on to four large pieces of paper, and we have, at last, decided on colours to paint the walls in the hall. You'll no doubt find out in due course! Still lots of prep to do before we start painting, though, but at least I can visualise what we're aiming for.
MrM's intentions for a full working day were thwarted when he lit a fire early in the afternoon, which made staying indoors much more attractive than going in to the chilly workshop. Then how could he possibly resist watching Manchester United play Liverpool in the FA cup?! He's a happy man this evening, anyway! Meanwhile I tackled a few chores and rustled up a roast dinner.
About to spend a restful evening in front of the fire watching a film. The 'working week', such as it is these days, starts tomorrow...
