Snow day

I didn’t sleep well but I wanted to be up early as there was snow forecast. At 8am there was nothing but by 9am it was a different story! The boys were up so we were off by about 10am for a snowy walk. It was so lovely to have a change of perspective. There were lots of folk out, people walking, kids on sledges. We discovered it was good snowman snow... so we had to make one of our own! Everyone was keeping their distance and we bumped into some friends we hadn’t seen since before the last lockdown. Home for a hot drink and to warm up.

This afternoon I did some cleaning, laundry and some flute practice. The boys watched the football and I made dinner.

It’s going to be a tough week at work this week so I plan to have a relaxing evening and an early night.
