Very heavy ground frost

Not a bird to be seen in the wee nature reserve and not even a coot's footprint in the frost.

Much of the loch was frozen but the swans found some free water just at the side of the island. The Canada Geese had settled themselves in a nearby field where they tried to find something to eat in the frozen grass.

I walked early before the families with toddlers on scooters and wee bikes arrived. Although it gets busy it's good to see people out enjoying some family time.

Home in time to tune in to our church service and enjoy a coffee and a wee nibble.
