Life from city to village

Freezing Walk

I had problems with the boiler this morning. It had turned off during the night due to loss of pressure. Except I wasn't able to repressurise it. Took the manual, trying to defrost pipes and eventual YouTube video to work out that the second valve underneath was also for repressurisation - I've never touched it before. But it worked. Whew.

Tidied up, and after lunch, went for a walk with my eldest. We just walked local. I dropped some apples and a bag of rice off at a friends house who is starting a food bank from the primary school where she works tomorrow. Then went through a local wooded path, before rounding back. Now sat with a warm cup of tea - it has never gone above freezing outside, and there was frost on everything.
