Tuesday: Gaining Clarity

I have always had really good eyesight.  On the whole, I still do but, in the last few years I have found smaller print, and reading in low light a struggle.  Tellingly, my arm also seems to be getting longer and longer when reading.  

Our friend who was here last week had three pairs of reading glasses - the type that you can just pick up over the counter.  I tried them and the clarity was amazing - it's years since the page has looked so sharp.

Anyway, she has left a pair  for me and, when I remember, which isn't often, I use them.....I am looking forward to using them at work and looking sternly over the top of them.
