2015-05-24 (Day 144) Callendar House Mausoleum

The masm of Callendar House is a Grade A listed building, but it currently lies abandoned and in a state of disrepair. It is featured in the "<a href="http://www.buildingsatrisk.org.uk/details/909566"&gt;Scottish Buildings At Risk Register</a>" as a building at risk, and appears to have been abandoned to its fate.

If the register is to be believed, it was built in 1816, and is "Circular, rusticated podium, entrance in simple rectangular projection with couplet inscription from the poet Lucian, cella and peristyle of 12 Greek doric columns above."
