Idyllic

After lunch we set off for a family walk to the point, less The Boy who was mid game online with his friends - but he caught us up eventually!

The sea front was busy, even more so than it was on Thursday. Shortly after we arrived at the point, so did the police! A car and a van, who then emptied and 3 officers approached each car to ask what they were doing - clearly we looked like we were exercising (even when queuing for coffee/ice cream) as they ignored us.

Anyway, we watched a pod of dolphins cross the bay followed by a paddle boarders. Their ripples can just be seen in the middle of this picture. It was all quite lovely and once again, I feel very grateful to be living where I do through these challenging times!

This evening, inspired by The Queens Gambit, we’ve had a cocktail night. We’ve tried a Gibson, a Gimlet and a Gin Martini. MrRoly has gave up at the Martini and went onto wine. Eldest gave me her martini and retuned to a Gimlet, I’m back in to a Gibson.
